Get to know Bek

By Rebekah Honey, Service Coordination & Connectivity project Worker

Hello Everyone,

I'm very excited to have become part of the Bendigo Loddon Primary Care Partnership team!

I've come from a very diverse background with experience ranging from the super technical world of geographic information systems and analysis, to wellbeing consulting and training, outdoor education, positive psychology training and program design, and project management.

Most recently I've been working with my father, Ivan Honey, on The Get Happier Project, which i co-wrote, designed and managed. This project is a whole-school approach to teaching our kids the key components of living a happy and empowered life through positive psychology.

I live locally in Mandurang and have a family of eight, with kids ranging from 10-16 years...I do talk about them a lot, so be warned!

I've lived all over Australia; from Canberra to Townsville; Wagga Wagga to the Sunshine Coast and have made my way back to my home community of Bendigo.

I am enjoying the opportunity to connect and be of service to our community in the Service Coordination & Connectivity role.

I look forward to meeting you all at some stage.
